Summary

This PR adds a blog post introducing vLLM Playground – a modern web interface for managing and interacting with vLLM servers.

About the Project

As a vLLM community member, I built vLLM Playground to make vLLM more accessible and easier to try out. The goal is to keep pace with new vLLM features and provide a visual, interactive way to experiment with them.

Key highlights:

  • Zero-setup experience with containerized vLLM (Docker/Podman)
  • Cross-platform support: macOS (Apple Silicon), Linux (CPU/GPU), and Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Modern UI with chat interface, structured outputs, and tool calling support
  • GuideLLM benchmarking integration
  • One-click model configurations from vLLM Recipes
