Hi, the codebase for this repo is a little old. During training, although the parameters in all models are reduced, other variances, e.g. running mean and running variances for bn in each rank, remain different. Please refer to the description in the function of do_evaluate (line 359-360). If possible, you can try to evaluate a target checkpoint to check if the performance is equal to the performance shown in the log. |
