From Matt: "For the manual event extraction module, the input is the source and the output is one (or more) paragraph(s) of text each describing an event. The user checks out a source (row), then is directed to another page. On that page, the user can see the fields for the source and a box to type in for the event extraction. If there’s more than one event to be extracted, the user clicks a button to render another box. When the user is done, they click a button to submit their changes. Each box then becomes an observation in an ExtractedEvent model (we need to create this)." Karim's note: Each extract should not be considered synonymous with an event, ie there may be multiple text extracts scattered throughout the source referencing the same event. However, they will be treated as possibly separate events, and it becomes the job of the deduplication module to merge them as multiple extracts referencing the same event.
