elixir-run

Erlang/OTP + Elixir + IEx + Mix in a single executable for Linux/macOS/Windows. Just run Elixir!

This is very experimental. :)

Usage

$ elixir-run iex
iex> Mix.install [:decimal]
iex> Decimal.add(1, 2)
#Decimal<3>

$ elixir-run mix hex.info decimal
Arbitrary precision decimal arithmetic.

Config: {:decimal, "~> 2.0"}
Releases: 2.0.0, 2.0.0-rc.0, 1.9.0, 1.9.0-rc.0, 1.8.1, 1.8.0, 1.7.0, 1.6.0, ...

Installation

Linux

$ curl --fail -L -o elixir-run https://github.com/wojtekmach/elixir-run/raw/main/bin/elixir-run-linux-x86_64
$ chmod +x elixir-run
$ ./elixir-run version
elixir-run 0.1.0 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu)
Elixir 1.12.1
Erlang/OTP 24

macOS

$ curl --fail -L -o elixir-run https://github.com/wojtekmach/elixir-run/raw/main/bin/elixir-run-macos-x86_64
$ chmod +x elixir-run
$ ./elixir-run version
