- Clone or download this repository
- Choose your browser and use the appropriate manifest file:
- Open
chrome://extensions/oredge://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right
- Click "Load unpacked"
- Select the

about:debugging - Click "This Firefox" > "Load Temporary Add-on"
- Select the

- Open Safari > Preferences > Advanced

The extension will be available on browser stores:

- Click the Owl Retro icon in your browser toolbar
- Toggle the theme on/off with the main switch
- Choose between Light, Dark, or Auto mode
- Enable/disable monospace fonts
- Adjust color intensity with the slider
- Use site-specific controls to always allow or block on current site

Each browser has its optimized manifest configuration:

- Some websites with strict CSP may not fully support inline styles
- Complex gradients are preserved as-is to maintain layouts
- Video/image elements are not color-shifted
