from java.util.Date to java.time.LocalDate. Performed significant reformatting.
Also check for ghostscript revision number before calling set_arg_encoding().

This pull request updates ghost4j to use the latest dependencies and fixes several warnings due to deprecated methods in Java 9. It also adds some additional logging to help track down a problem when converting to PDF.
