ARGA v0.2.0 release – Genome tracker, home page refresh, higher taxon page upgrades

Genome tracker release, home page and higher taxon page updates

New feature: Genome Tracker v1.0.0

Additional improvements/refinements:

• home page includes direct link to Genome Tracker
• new taxonomic coverage widget
• species pages updated with selected icon groups in the header
• higher taxon pages redesigned to support:
  • new charts and visualisations
  • downloadable statistics and graphics
  • toggle between card and table views
  • download functionality for species data vs genomic data
  • filter enhancements and new filter options

Accessibility testing

Accessibility testing was conducted using Lighthouse (Performance: 91, Accessibility: 79). Minor issues were identified, such as missing alt attributes and ARIA labels. These will be resolved in future iterations, with linting in place to support long-term compliance.
