Restore Settings File

Creating a settings file for your environment takes several hours or days of tweaking and adjusting settings and values to make sure everything is as it should be. If you loose or delete your settings file don't despair, all this work is not lost. You can retrieve it again as long as you still have the compiled QA script that you generated from it.

Steps

  1. Open the Settings Configuration Tool and click the Restore Settings File button found at the bottom of the first page.

  2. Read the message that appears and click OK.

  3. Find and select the compiled QA script that you want to restore the settings from.

  4. After a few seconds a new settings file will be created called restored.ini and placed in the same folder as the QA script that you selected above.

  5. To use this settings file, move it into the Settings folder.
