We have updated the way our extension handles .NET analysis to provide more integrated experience and additional features

Simplified Configuration

New Format: We have deprecated support for .editorconfig. Analysis configuration now relies exclusively on the SonarQube settings format for VisualStudio
Enhanced C# & VB.Net Connected Mode Integration & Features
- Better Sonar Ecosystem Synergy: Enjoy faster server synchronization, improved report view, and initial support for "Focus on New Code".
- Security Hotspots: We now support C# and VB.NET Security Hotspots when working in Connected Mode.
- Secondary Locations (C#): Issues now include secondary locations to help you understand the root cause.
  For example, rule S2328 - "GetHashCode" should not reference mutable fields shows which specific fields contribute to the issue that is raised.
Current Analysis Scope

Due to the complexity of this change, we no longer support full solution analysis, only limiting to Open Files analysis. We are exploring options for on demand full solution analysis, similar to how our extensions work for other IDE, but there's no concrete timeline at this moment.
