I’m developing a game with Bevy on macOS and I’ve noticed an issue with bevy_picking when using macOS trackpads.
When I use tap-to-click (light tap) on the built-in MacBook trackpad, click detection sometimes fails — roughly 10–20% of taps are not detected. I also tested with an external Magic Trackpad, and the issue is even worse there: tap-to-click almost never works, with only occasional successful detections (around ~5% of the time).
This only happens with tap-to-click.
A physical press / force click, or using a mouse on Windows, works reliably.
I can reproduce this behavior consistently using Bevy’s official example: https://bevy.org/examples/picking/mesh-picking/

At this point I’m not sure whether this is:
• an issue in Bevy or bevy_picking,
• a macOS / trackpad input quirk,
• or something related to how tap-to-click events are handled.
Has anyone else encountered this?
