• @afilini did a overview of core modules and new work in progress:

  • database, storage of cached block data

  • blockchain, pluggable block data providers

  • descriptor, builds on rust-miniscript to provide extended descriptors

  • WIP: blockchain/compact_filters

  • WIP: Descriptor templates, generic key types PR#92

• New contributors can play with BDK via repl tool

• Testing and additional docs always needed, good first issues in github

• Team should discuss bug and missing features in development channel and create new github issues

BDK-JNI

• Recently upgraded gradle version and to JDK15

• retested on mac OSX , need to verify build works on Windows, Linux
