Agenda:
- State of everything (Check VPN access, what is your current status and that of your tasks)
- VPN access is tested and should work now (instructions on FH website)
- State of everyone:
- Nick is busy with work, working on ROS 2 integration (bridge) with Sebastian and Tarik
- Sebastian got the YOLO OpenCV Fawkes plugin to run, but the skill is not ready yet; Fedora 34 migration on bots ongoing (with some OpenCV changes for YOLO);
- Matteo is thinking about not only moving the grab skill to YOLO but also the put skill as part of his master's thesis; also thinking about workpiece vs. barcode detection; trying to get in contact with experts from other chairs
- Anna has labelled data for vision training and looking into augmentation techniques; looking at rviz visulations of rosbags to get a better graps of the localization
- Daniel is working on reimplementing the handling of PDDL preconditions in the CX
- Sonja is working on her master's thesis
- Till is working on Fedora 34 migration
- FH setup is about to be made ready for the hackathon
- What to do with Tag Vision?
- Where and how is Tag Vision used?
- mps_align, matches tag and laserline translation
- agent, exploration ???
-
- Use Yolo, lose all position information
-
- [ x ] port Alvar to Fed34, why are we using alvar still?
-
- use opencv contours, basically write your own algorithm to decode Tags
- Hacky version from Sebastian works, but problems with discussion. Should we switch in the RCLL to Aruco for 2022? Switch not an option for 2021, because of rulebook and fairness. Yolo is not an option. Till is in favor of porting Alvar if feasible (we must maintain though). Port will be attempted in order to break the least possible amount of code.
- Misc
- Till set up containers for our repos, so everything can be run in containers
- New website to be previewed at carologistics.kbsg.rwth-aachen.de
- fawkesrobotics.org will be shut down and content will be moved to Github.
