The TGI, or Type Group Instance is a set of ID's which uniquely identify any file/blob in a DBPF archive.

Type ID

Describes what format the blob is structured in.

Group ID

Groups a number of files into collections. Used for models?

Instance ID

A unique ID given to the blob to allow for multiple similar types in each group.

EIID

A second unique ID in index table version 7.1. Allows for significantly larger numbers of files.
