Interesting.
I wonder if this is due to the fact that in Gazebo classic the materials/textures model sub-folder is automatically added to the path so the lookup is successful and whether this is not the case anymore in Gz.
I wonder if a "full" fix would be to change the path in the dae file to reflect this? I.e. make it materials/textures/[file_name]. If that works maybe we can consider updating the model on the gazebo app portal?
