this is a highly WIP branch meant to go with revoltchat/revolt.js#114 and solve the issues that causes here

don't merge this yet--things are still very broken and here's a list of them:

  • composing messages
  • members sidebar (people going online or offline, role changes, etc.)
  • channels sidebar (new/edited/deleted channels)
  • friends list (online, offline, new requests)
  • DMs list (online, offline, new DMs, etc.)
  • unread messages
  • typing indicator
  • editing messages

Please make sure to check the following tasks before opening and submitting a PR

  • I understand and have followed the contribution guide
  • I have tested my changes locally and they are working as intended
