[flask, seer] autofixable flagship error - AttributeError - OPTION 1

This is mutually exclusive with Option 2 (#858) we have to pick one or the other depending on which one provides a better Seer demo.

This one can and should be chained with raise ... from ... just like Option 2. once we confirm that it doesn't interfere with Seer, of course.
