We just released and uploaded the v7.0.2 of MaMuT, the Fiji plugin for tracking and lineaging cells in very large movies. MaMuT is an end user plugin that combines the BigDataViewer and TrackMate to provide an application that allow browsing, annotating and curating annotations for large image data.
This new version started as a fix related to the new TrackMate major version released this summer (see this post). The new TrackMate version broke MaMuT and prompted for a new release. Doing so, I added a few new features that I briefly list below.
More numerical features are calculated.
Before v7, the number of features calculated for MaMuT were limited. The new version includes all the features that can be found in TrackMate plus a few ones.
In particular, the intensity features are now calculated in MaMuT. You can measure and follow the cell intensity over time without any extra effort:
New tables.
As seen above, we now benefit from the new tables developed for TrackMate. They are in sync with the other views as well and a click or a selection will be reflected on all views.
New display settings.
In the same way, we also have the new display settings for the the track overlay:
Notes.
Normally MaMuT would be superseded by Mastodon. But MaMuT is still maintained and will be in the future.
