What is OGC E Learning?

The Goal of the OGC E-Learning program is to coordinate and provide educational materials that can support adoption of OGC standards and professional (skills) assessment.
Demo is available here
Current focus is on the developing overview, written content for self-learning.
Current purpose is primarily for the following:
- Self-learning
- Support other inforamtive and training material, such as:
- Wikipedia
- OCC Pages
- OSGeo-Live and others
In the near future the following will be supported:
- Support for lectures
- Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)
- Professors, teachers, educators, trainers that develop and teach geospatial courses.
- Organizations that provide Geospatial Software (open and proprietary) and would like to supplement their training material.
The content is structure in modules, using unstructured text. More information here.
The content should be exported and publish in different formats, like HTML and PDF.The content should be able to easily be published in different platforms:
- Software training material distribution. For example OSGeolive
- blackboard, moodle to be used a course module.
- Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform:
