Martial Class: Fighter

Grit Additional items
1 Melee weapon that uses up to 3 slots, shield.
2 Melee weapon that uses up to 3 slots.
3-4 Melee weapon that uses up to 2 slots.
5 Melee weapon that uses up to 1 slots.
6 1 extra trinket.

Saving throws against poison and area effects succeed on a 1-2 on 1D6.

Trained in (able to use the tags of) the first 4 weapon types you use. (You can veto a weapon type, if needed.)

Trained in light and medium armor.

HD: 1d6.

Abilities

  • +1 to ATK.

Example: A battleaxe has

  • [overpowering] A killing blow allows an additional attack against a nearby opponent.
  • [heavy] Roll 2D6 and keep the higher result for damage.

Level 2

  • +1 to ATK.
  • Gain 1 Boon to every combat maneuver.

Level 3

  • +1 to ATK.
  • Add +Level to Morale checks for those who are in your charge.

Level 4

  • +1 to ATK.
  • If you make eye contact with an NPC, make a CHA check to assess how many sapients it has killed: none, one, or more. You can try again once every 10 minutes. Experts can hide their killcount (causing a Bane to this Check or disallowing a check.)

Level 5

  • +1 to ATK.
  • Hitting an NPC in combat or observing an NPC for 5 uninterrupted minutes allows you to determine how many HD it has (roughly equivalent to level.)

Level 6

  • +1 to ATK.

Level 7+

  • Increase one Attribute score by 1.
