Locking a Modpack
ModMyFactory allows you to group your mods into modpacks which allow you to quickly switch between different mod configurations. This can be further automated by creating links that start the game using a specific modpack.
This section only describes how to create your own modpacks.
For information on how to share your modpacks see: Share Modpacks
To create a new empty modpack click the 
File -> New modpack in the menu or press Ctrl+N.
A modpack with the name New modpack will be created in edit-mode.
Give the new modpack a name and confirm by pressing Enter or by clicking on the 
You can change the name of a modpack at any time by clicking on the 
You can delete a modpack at any time by clicking 
A modpack can be populated with both mods and other modpacks. When a modpack is activated/deactivated all mods and modpacks that it contains are also activated/deactivated.
To populate a modpack select all mods or modpacks you want to add and use drag and drop to drop them onto the modpack you want to populate. A modpack can not contain itself and can only contain each mod/modpack once, but adding a mod/modpack again will not throw any errors.
Tip: you can select multiple mods/modpacks by holding down the Control and Shift keys while clicking, just like in Windows Explorer.
To see the contents of a modpack you can expand it by clicking 
Mods and modpacks can be distinguished among the subitems by their icons. Mods appear with a 

A modpack can be locked by clicking on the 

A locked modpack can not be edited in any way, meaning mods and modpacks can not be added or removed and mods in the pack will never be updated even when selecting the mod for replacing.
Locking is intended as a security measure to keep your mod configurations from getting messed up by updates or on accident.
