Participants

Massimo Cimmino
Moritz Lauster
Filip Jorissen
Donghun Kim
Christian Vehring
Michael Wetter

Minutes

Refrigerant media

Christian works on merging them to the IBPSA library. Massimo already used some of the new properties. Comparison relative to refprop has been done and will be documented in the IBPSA library.

CONTAM-style models (Klaas)

No update.

Filip to present refactor of inverseX (1/X)

No longer an issue, will be removed from agenda.

Update on geothermal models (Massimo)

Massimo presented current state. Computing groTemRes scales with square of nSeg. Will work on how to reduce the computing effort.

Christian may be able to provide measurement data for validation.

Update regarding JModelica/OCT (Michael)

CI testing could be left with JModelica or OCT, currently no strong reason for one or the other.

Change to CVode as default solver (Michael)

Michael to work on converting models to CVode for Dymola CI testing.

Pressure as state (Michael brief update)

Michael presented ongoing work to change pressure and internal energy state. This will need more analysis, which is ongoing.

Making homotopyInitialization a constant, and maybe deprecate it?

Set to a constant, and add warning that it is deprecated if homotopy is disabled. In future releases, could remove non-homotopy alltogether.

Visual enhancements of PartialTwoPort

Issue https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues/1280 See notes on ticket.

Progress on pull requests

All should work on the pull requests or open tickets.

New action items

Christian to work with Massimo on seeing what borefield measurement data Aachen could be providing.

Michael to work on converting models to CVode for Dymola CI testing.

Michael to open a ticket that would allow showing how much valves are open and how big the speed of pumps are.

Michael to open ticket to use a scope such as shown in the top graphic of issue https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues/1280

Previous action items

Michael to review check valve model https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/pull/1224. Has been merged to master.

Michael to update CI testing to Dymola 2020x. Done.

Klaas to make pull request for new air flow models.

Fluid Property models (RWTH) RWTH intern development of R134a, R410A, R32, R407C, R290 and R744 merge in December, Paper in March Are there further fluid models of interest? We can add some more due to master's thesis.
