June 18, 2025 Meeting Minutes

PKCS#11 v3.2

  • Items tracked in 3.2 Work Items
  • JIRA tickets filed
  • Small editorial change to add a missing comma to the header files, so they can compile. Bob will push to where people can download and we will update the zip file in next step.
  • In case we had any concerns with our prior motions to move this document forward, committee made the following (more complete) motions:

GitHub Updates

  • Kelly will be our new contact for GH management, Robin no longer works for OASIS. Kelly has gone through and updated files to be sure they are up to date with OASIS. OASIS already has:

    • Contributions As stated in this repository's [CONTRIBUTING file](https://github.com/oasis-tcs/pkcs11/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md), contributors to this repository are expected to be Members of the OASIS PKCS 11 TC, for any substantive change requests. Anyone wishing to contribute to this GitHub project and [participate](https://www.oasis-open.org/join/participation-instructions) in the TC's technical activity is invited to join as an OASIS TC Member. Public feedback is also accepted, subject to the terms of the [OASIS Feedback License](https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/ipr#appendixa).   • OASIS seems to allow anyone to file issues, we (TC) thought we may not want to accept issues due to IPR. Did we want a standing rule to reject Issues from non TC members? Or follow OASIS recommendations. Group in general okay with trying OASIS ways for now, any concerns later, we can revisit. Administratively will need to reject PRs from non TC members. Next step: Bob, Simo, Tim connect with Kelly to get projects turned on.

PKCS#11 v3.3

  • Issue #19, created by dieter based on email discussions. Hamish is looking at this issue and looking for a proposal for the second half of. (Hamish77). May need to get Hamish added to the repo.

  • Can we set up where emails go from GitHub to our list?
