This projects aims to replicate the bioinformatics analysis and approaches made by Eckalbar et. al in Transcriptomic and epigenomic characterization of the developing bat wing.

Due to the lack of time and resources, this project has been carried out using sel3 subset.

The study aimed to understand the developmental processes involved in the formation of bat wings. To understand this, the de novo assembly whole genome assembly was carried out for Miniopterus nataliensis along with RNA-seq and ChIP-seq.

In order to study bat wing development, the following analysis would be carried out:

  • Quality Control and Trimming
  • Genome Assembly
  • Transcriptome assembly
  • Genome Annotation and Differential Expression Analysis.
